The idea is to collectively create an entire tarot deck where each card is a different artist's take on The Fool. Each artist will submit a design and in exchange they'll get a free copy of the finished deck.
No. This is an art project that is going to cost me money to print up decks to send to the individual card designers. If all goes well I do plan to start selling decks, but any profits will be donated to Planned Parenthood.
Can I get a deck if I don't participate?
If the project goes well I plan to sell decks (with any profits going to charity). If you sign up for the mailing list, I'll let you know if/when it's available. But the best way to ensure you get a deck is to submit a good design.
Can I submit multiple times?
Yes, but you'll still only get one deck.
What if I can't draw?
What can you do? Is it something you can take a picture of? Convert into an image?
When will I get my deck?
In the next few months. I'm working on getting the deck together, but there's a bit of work to do to get it out the door like design a booklet and proof the content. worth it. Do you need a deadline to get stuff done? In the mean time, you can follow along by joining thethe mailing list.
Does it matter what country I'm in?
No! But if for some reason shipping a deck to you would be difficult or prohibitively expensive please let me know and maybe we can figure something else out.
How do you do a reading with it?
I don't know yet. I feel like once the deck exists, it'll be clearer.
Can I collaborate with someone else on a design?
Yes, but since I'm paying for these decks myself out of pocket, I'll only send one free deck per image included. But if that doesn't work, let me know what your situation is and maybe we can work something out.
